Good Taiwanese food in Brooklyn! My husband and I usually go to 886 but with congestion pricing, we were very happy to find another good Taiwanese spot in Brooklyn. We ordered the beef noodle soup, pork chop over braised pork rice, pork chive dumplings, and cucumber salad. The beef noodle soup and pork chive dumplings were our top two favorites from everything we ordered today. The beef was on the chewy side and I liked how they added radish and carrot, which reminded me of what my mom cooks at home. Their pork chive dumplings were delicious. We got the pan-fried version which added a nice crispy texture on the outside. It also had vermicelli inside, which is how many authentic Taiwanese dumplings are made. The dumpling skin was very thin too!

Love this place will definitely be back soon !!!!My son took me for Mother’s Day it was a beautiful experience. From staff to decoration and food. All was remarkable. Portion sizes will leave you satisfied. We started with Popcorn Chicken. Oh so delish. Perfect bite size. Flavorful on their own or sprinkle a dash of their powder chili. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside they will not disappoint. Next, Pork Bun. Every bite was fluffy, sweet, savory and crispy pork. Couldn’t stop eating. Just wanted more. Must have their signature pork pan-fried dumplings. Tender and savory 8 pieces of dumplings fried to perfection. How do they get all that flavor into one piece of dumpling? Formosa was a hidden gem for us since we rarely hear people talking about it, which honestly makes it feel like a great little discovery. The space itself is cute and welcoming, and the food absolutely delivers. We tried a few dishes and everything impressed. The dumplings were a great way to start the meal, and the beef noodle soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. But the real showstopper was the scallion noodles. They were fresh, fragrant, and incredibly flavorful. One of those dishes where everyone at the table pauses for a second because it is that good. There are so many tempting options on the menu that we already know we will be back soon to try more. I never expected to have great Taiwanese food this close by, but here we are. If you go, definitely start with a small plate or dumplings before your main dish so you can sample a few things from the menu. This is the kind of place where sharing and trying a little of everything makes the experience even better. 🥟😋

Popped in here for lunch with a friend. We each had different noodle dishes. I had the beef noodle soup, which was tasty and a large portion. Plenty of beef and noodles, good flavor, and a nice variety of vegetables. I also had the bubble tea (winter melon flavor), which I enjoyed. I'd come back to eat here if I was in the neighborhood.

I really liked this new dumpling place in BK. We got the kimchi and special pork dumplings as well as the beef noodles. All dishes were really good! I loved the no-frills atmosphere and the quick service. Looking forward to go again.
